About Us
About NameReveals
NameReveals is a free website that helps you explore what a name means and what the numbers in it say. You can look up a name meaning, see where a name comes from, get a name numerology reading, find your lucky colour and lucky numbers, and compare two names for fun.
What we do
Every tool on the site starts with a name. First, you type it in. Then the site turns each letter into a number from 1 to 9 using the Pythagorean system, adds the numbers up, and shows you a clear reading. We also publish guides and articles about name meanings, origins and the numbers behind them.
Where our name meanings come from
Our name library holds names with a checked origin and meaning, including many Arabic, Persian, Urdu and English names. If a name is not in the library yet, we do not invent a history for it. Instead, the site gives a letter-based numerology reading and says so plainly. We keep adding names, so the library grows over time.
Our promise to you
- Free to use. You do not need to sign up or pay.
- Your name stays private. The tools work in your browser, and we do not save the names you type.
- Honest readings. Numerology and lucky readings are for entertainment. They are not scientific predictions.
Languages
You can use the language menu at the top of the site to read name meanings and readings in other languages, including Urdu, Hindi, Roman Urdu and Hinglish.
